Wilhelm-Busch-Haus
Seesen, Niedersachsen
Wilhelm Busch, the draughtsman and poet, spent the last ten years of his life in this former parsonage on the edge of the village of Mechtshausen. The plain half-timbered house stands beside a large orchard and close to the woods, and his two rooms looked out toward the Heber hill. An exhibition recalls him and his years on the edge of the Harz, and the surrounding fields and woodland edge are where he liked to walk.
