Bergbaumuseum - Historische Silbergrube Lautenthals Glück

Langelsheim, Niedersachsen

At Lautenthal in the Harz you can go down a genuine silver mine: a mine train carries visitors into the galleries where silver ore was once extracted. It is one of the last mines in the region that can still be entered, and an ore boat trip is part of the visit. You also pick up miners' language, in which one always rides or travels down, even when walking.
