Heimatmuseum Lutter am Barenberge

Spread over three floors and 14 rooms, this local history museum shows several hundred pieces from everyday life in earlier times. You can walk through a shoemaker's and a tailor's workshop, an old classroom, a bedroom and a nursery, then a parlour from around 1900, a 1950s living room and grandma's old kitchen. There is also a photo lab. One section is devoted to the village's history and the Battle of Lutter.
