Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Haus

Bremen, Freie Hansestadt Bremen

This neoclassical gatehouse on Bremen's cultural mile, right next to the Kunsthalle, is devoted entirely to design. The estate of the product designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld is the centrepiece, shown with work by other designers in a two-storey exhibition wing of about 330 square metres. The building dates from 1828 and once served as a guardhouse and prison.
