Wilhelm-Ostwald-Park

Grimma, Sachsen

The chemist and Nobel laureate Wilhelm Ostwald lived and worked on this estate from 1906 until his death in 1932. Once known as Landsitz Energie, it lies on the edge of Großbothen and includes his house, with the laboratory and library he set up, in the countryside of the Mulde valley that he liked to paint. Today it serves as a museum and conference venue.
