Dorfmuseum Schönbach

The village museum in Schönbach near Colditz is known for its baskets: the collection of Leipzig basketmaker Otto Prischmann has about 1,000 pieces, including back-carrying baskets, prams from around 1900 and balloon baskets from Saxony, Thuringia, Franconia, Hungary, China and Africa. Other exhibits cover farming, forestry, crafts, housekeeping and local history.
