Stadtmuseum Bergkamen

Housed in the former municipal administration building in Oberaden, the Stadtmuseum Bergkamen tells the story of the region. Its earth history section covers coal and what makes the area geologically distinctive, with fossils and rocks, some from miners' private collections. The galerie sohle 1 is in the same building and shows contemporary art, mostly by regional artists.
