Hoesch-Museum

The old gatehouse at the former entrance to Dortmund's Westfalenhütte steelworks now holds a museum about steel work. It covers 160 years of company, technical and social history at Hoesch, linked to the story of the city. The listed building dates from 1912 to 1914 and once checked workers' attendance. Beside it stands a steel house from the 1960s, of the kind Hoesch put up in Hombruch.
