Muzeum Regionalne im. Władysława St. Reymonta w Lipcach Reymontowskich

Lipce Reymontowskie, łódzkie

Set in a late-19th-century textile mill once run by the Winkel family, and working until 1974, this museum is about the village Reymont wrote of. You will find folk costumes, woven and embroidered cloth, old farm tools, and the machines that once produced striped pasiak fabric. Ewa Soska's clay sculptures of characters from Reymont's novel The Peasants have their own display, and another exhibition covers the writer's life and work.
