Parowozownia Skierniewice

Skierniewice, łódzkie

This old locomotive shed beside Skierniewice station was built in 1845 along with the railway line from Warsaw and stayed in use until 1991. Today it holds a display of rolling stock: steam engines such as the Ty51, Ol49 and OKl27, diesel and electric locomotives, freight and passenger cars, draisines and railway equipment. The roundhouse itself is part of the draw.
