Muzeum Archidiecezjalne we Wrocławiu

Wrocław, dolnośląskie

The museum is housed in the chapter house on Cathedral Square, first mentioned in 1382 and rebuilt in the Renaissance; a portal dated 1527 marks the tower facade. The collection, gathered since 1898, consists mainly of rare ancient and Gothic works, especially from Piast-era Silesia. It is among the oldest archdiocesan museums in Poland.
