Museum für textile Kunst

Garments, fabrics and handicrafts gathered from around the world, both traditional and imaginative, fill this textile museum in Hannover-Kirchrode. It is housed in a wartime bunker on Borchersstraße, and for good reason: the thick walls keep the climate almost constant, which protects the delicate cloth. It has been open since 2007.
