Mitteldeutsches Eisenbahn- und Spielzeugmuseum

Some 3000 items fill about 500 square metres here: dolls, doll's houses, toy shops, tin toys, steam engines, children's books and games. Historic model railways, mostly by Märklin, run through landscapes built for them, with steam locomotives, Crocodile locomotives and the Adler train among the highlights. One display case recreates the hobby room of the private collector whose collection started the museum.
