Tuchmacher-Museum Bramsche

Housed in the old cloth makers' guild buildings, this museum demonstrates the whole process of making woollen cloth on historic machines, from combing and dyeing the wool to spinning and weaving. The stars are a spinning machine with about 100 spindles and a Jacquard loom. Scenes from a German TV series were filmed in one of the machine rooms. It is a stop on the Industrial Heritage Route of north-west Germany.
