Stara Pomarańczarnia

Warszawa, mazowieckie

This neoclassical building in Łazienki Park, raised in 1786–1788 to a design by Dominik Merlini, is laid out as a horseshoe. It sheltered orange trees in winter, which then decorated the park's avenues in summer. Its east wing housed the court Stanisław Theatre. The interiors, decorated from the start, are worth seeing in their own right.
