Cele Bezpieki

Śródmieście Południowe, mazowieckie

The tour runs through the cellars of a building on Aleje Ujazdowskie, where the Ministry of Public Security kept a detention centre from 1945 to 1954. Prisoners included Władysław Bartoszewski and August Emil Fieldorf. In six cells, dozens of traces left by prisoners have been preserved. It is a branch of the Warsaw Rising Museum, opened in 2018.
