Pałac Na Wyspie w Warszawie

Śródmieście, mazowieckie

This classicist palace stands on an artificial island in a pond in the Royal Łazienki park, linked to the shore by two bridges topped with columns. It began as a Baroque bathing pavilion built in 1683–1689 and was rebuilt in the later 18th century as a summer residence for King Stanisław August. An amphitheatre sits beside the water, and parkland surrounds it.
