Stadtmuseum Erfurt

Housed in the Haus zum Stockfisch, this museum tells the story of Erfurt, with an emphasis on the medieval heyday of the city of Luther and its university. The ground floor shows remains of the old town hall with its council silver, church treasures, university sceptres and a Reformation collection. Upper floors cover the 19th and 20th centuries, and a film with aerial footage and animations rounds off the displays.
