Füssen, Bayern

In the former residence rooms of the prince-bishops in the Hohes Schloss hangs art from around 1500 in the Allgäu and Swabia. You will find panel paintings, sculptures and the stained glass of the festival hall. Notable are five panels telling the legend of St. Magnus and the paintings of War and Plague made by an Upper Swabian painter in 1510. The gallery is a branch of the Bavarian State Painting Collections.
