Schloss Hohenbrunn

St. Florian, Oberösterreich

This Baroque hunting lodge was built for the monastery of St. Florian and now houses a hunting museum. It went up between 1722 and 1732 to plans by Jakob Prandtauer, on the site of the farmhouse where Provost Johann Födermayr was born. The building is read as a monumental take on the traditional square farmstead. The regional hunting association's education centre is also based here.
