Anton-Bruckner-Museum
Ansfelden, Oberösterreich
Anton Bruckner was born in 1824 in the teacher's apartment of this old village school in Ansfelden, where his father and grandfather both taught. The museum follows the composer's life, from boy chorister at St Florian and cathedral organist in Linz to his fame as a symphonist in Vienna. The building has been open to visitors as a memorial since 1972.
