Römische Thermen

Weißenburg in Bayern, Bayern

You can no longer bathe here, but you can see how the Romans did. The baths belonged to the fort and settlement of Biriciana on the Raetian Limes and are among the few preserved on Germanic soil. The layout of the extension of about AD 130, with its warm bath, cold bath and round sweat room, can still be followed. Discovered in 1977, they have been a museum since 1983.
