Robert von Zeppelin- und Fliegermuseum

Wittmund, Niedersachsen

This Wittmund museum tells the story of the airship base and later airfield at Wittmundhafen, used by the Imperial Navy from 1916. Across about 300 square metres it shows models of the airfield, Zeppelins and aircraft, plus information boards on regional aviation. Loans from Robert von Zeppelin's collection, including a First World War naval uniform, add to the display.
