Feuerwehrmuseum Jever

Jever, Niedersachsen

Vintage fire engines built between 1937 and 1971 are the heart of this firefighting museum, housed in a former goods shed beside Jever station. Display cases hold historic helmets, small extinguishing equipment, breathing apparatus, first-aid supplies and uniforms. Another focus is radio and alarm technology and how it changed over the years. The vehicles are kept in an extension added in 2011.
