Rheinmuseum Emmerich

Emmerich am Rhein, Nordrhein-Westfalen

This museum is about life and work on and beside the Rhine. You will find more than 150 ship models, from dugout canoes to push-tow convoys, along with navigation instruments, ship fittings, two working radar sets and preserved fish. Another section follows the history of Emmerich, a Hanseatic town that was 97 percent destroyed in the Second World War. It occupies the Kulturhaus opposite the town hall.
