Museum Kurhaus Kleve

Kleve, Nordrhein-Westfalen

This neoclassical house at the edge of the Tiergarten woods once served as the spa house of Bad Cleve, when the town was a fashionable spa between 1742 and 1914. Today it is an art museum, close to the 17th-century park grounds laid out for Prince Maurice of Nassau-Siegen. The building itself tells part of Kleve's story as a spa town.
