On the Old Market Square, this museum explores the Łowicz region and the culture of the Księżacy people. It sits in a baroque former missionary seminary designed by Tylman van Gameren. One wing survived the war with the chapel of St Charles Borromeo, decorated with frescoes by Michelangelo Palloni.
