Państwowe Muzeum na Majdanku

Lublin, lubelskie

This memorial museum occupies part of the former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp KL Lublin, on the edge of the city. Visitors walk through the surviving camp buildings: the farm section, a prisoners' field, the bath house with its gas chambers, and both crematoria. The site also holds Wiktor Tołkin's Monument to Struggle and Martyrdom, a permanent main exhibition and temporary shows. Allow time and a quiet frame of mind.
