Muzeum Narodowe w Lublinie

Lublin, lubelskie

One of the oldest and largest museums in eastern Poland, this has four branches in Lublin and four more outside the city. Its collections grew out of exhibitions held in the town in 1901, and the museum opened in 1906 in a former Dominican monastery building. Some of the permanent displays are housed in Lublin Castle.
