Piwnica pod Fortuną w Lublinie

Beneath a townhouse at Rynek 8 in Lublin lies a cellar with wall paintings made after 1596. These late Renaissance paintings, secular and emblematic in theme, are a rare example of their kind in Poland. The room sits on the first level of the cellars, in limestone walls with lime plaster, and forms part of Lublin's underground route.
