Oderbruch Museum Altranft

Bad Freienwalde (Oder), Brandenburg

An entire estate village on the edge of the Oderbruch serves as the museum here. The exhibitions are in the manor house, known as the castle, whose history reaches back to the 16th century. The grounds include a farmstead built after the village fire of 1829, the Fischerhaus of around 1720 with workshop activities, and a smithy yard from 1910/11. The tour also takes in the church on the green, consecrated in 1752.
