Binnenschifffahrtsmuseum (Oderberg)

Oderberg, Brandenburg

Everything here revolves around water: the museum tells the story of inland shipping, water engineering, fishing and rafting in the Oderbruch and Old Oder region. The ground floor covers local history from the Stone Age to the early modern period, with finds from nearby gravel pits. The star attraction is the side-wheel steamer Riesa, which came here from the Weisse Flotte fleet in Dresden.
