Oberfränkisches Feuerwehrmuseum

Across 600 square metres inside Schauenstein castle, this fire brigade museum traces how firefighting developed, especially in the Hof district, going back to the mid-19th century. Besides the technology, it looks at the traditions of the brigades. A collection of machinery and a hall of historic fire engines, including Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Magirus-Deutz makes, are part of it.
