Oberfränkisches Bauernhofmuseum Kleinlosnitz
Zell im Fichtelgebirge, Bayern
This open-air museum in Kleinlosnitz gathers old farmsteads of the region, with their typical Frackdach roofs, half-timbering and combined house-and-stable layout. A craftsman's house of 1785 from Saalenstein and a flax-breaking house from Wurlitz have been rebuilt here too. Exhibits cover furnished living rooms, farm tools and the historic working of fields and meadows. Traditional thatching is demonstrated and can be learned.
