Muzeum Północno-Mazowieckie w Łomży

Łomża, podlaskie

This regional museum in Łomża gathers objects of Kurpie culture and art, from prehistory to the present day. It was founded in 1948 on the initiative of the ethnographer Adam Chętnik, and its first permanent exhibition covered the culture and nature of north-eastern Mazovia. A good place to get to know the region.
