Muzeum Harcerstwa w Warszawie

Warszawa, mazowieckie

This Warsaw museum tells the story of scouting in Poland, a movement whose heritage people began thinking of preserving as early as 1916. Its collections grew out of mementos and documents gathered by the Polish Scouting Association, and they now show how the movement developed and what it stood for. Between 2005 and 2010 the museum was housed in the Egyptian Temple in the Royal Łazienki Park. It is worth a visit if you want to understand what scouting has meant in Polish life.
