Muzeum Azji i Pacyfiku w Warszawie

Warszawa, mazowieckie

Collections from Asia, Oceania and Australia fill two historic buildings of the former city slaughterhouse on Solec Street, plus the ground floor of the neighbouring apartment block. The museum grew from a private collection of Indonesian art and crafts gathered by the diplomat Andrzej Wawrzyniak, including weapons, masks, textiles, sculptures and theatre puppets. It now holds over 20,000 objects.
