Museum Schloss Glücksburg

Together with the collegiate church, the roughly 500-year-old Glücksburg castle shapes Römhild's skyline. The town museum in the rear wing focuses on crafts, decorative arts and ceramics. You will also find the Mavrogordato family's collection of Roman and Greek antiquities and artist and character dolls from the first half of the 20th century. Ceramic pieces by artists from around the world stand in the ceramics garden and the galleries, all made at the ceramics symposiums held in Römhild every three years since 1975.
