Museum im Schwedenbau

Oberndorf am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg

A 19th-century industrial building once used for making weapons houses Oberndorf's town museum. Its focus is the more than 200-year history of local weapons technology, developed from 1811 at the Royal Württemberg rifle factory and later by Mauser, Heckler & Koch, Rheinmetall and Feinwerkbau. The town archive is under the same roof.
