Museum im Kloster Frankenberg

Frankenberg (Eder), Hessen

In the north wing of a 13th-century Cistercian nunnery, this museum follows the history of the town and district of Frankenberg, from its humanist heyday to the 19th and 20th centuries. The display runs through the former cloister, refectory, dormitory and the Romanesque St Maurice's chapel. It holds works by the artists Philipp Soldan and Tyle von Frankenberg.
