Stadtmuseum Battenberg

Housed in the old town hall, a half-timbered building of the 17th century, this museum tells the story of the small hill town of Battenberg. A hunting exhibition shows how the 18th-century hunting parties of the Landgraves of Hesse-Darmstadt shaped the town and its people. Other themes include the Mountbatten family, historic motorcycle races and mining, and an audio guide leads through the rooms.
