Daniel-Martin-Haus

Rauschenberg, Hessen

Village life and work of times past fill this museum in a listed half-timbered house. You will find farm tools, a stocking loom and a linen loom, plus workshops of the blacksmith, joiner and cobbler. A farmhouse kitchen and a parlour with a canopy bed show how people lived, alongside Marburg, Huguenot and Waldensian costumes. The house is not accessible for visitors with limited mobility.
