Museum für Urgeschichte und Eiszeitkunst

Blaubeuren, Baden-Württemberg

This museum is devoted to the Old Stone Age on the Swabian Jura. It occupies a former 15th-century hospital in Blaubeuren, surrounded by caves and settlement sites that people already used in the Ice Age. It also serves as the information point for the UNESCO World Heritage caves and Ice Age art and for the Swabian Alb Geopark, making it a good first stop before heading out to the sites themselves.
