Stadthaus Ulm

Richard Meier's white, modern Stadthaus stands on Ulm's Münsterplatz in deliberate contrast to the Gothic minster. Inside are exhibitions of photography and modern and contemporary art, and a permanent display downstairs on the archaeology and history of the square, where a Franciscan monastery stood until 1878. The tourist information office is on the ground floor.
