KZ-Gedenkstätte Oberer Kuhberg Ulm
Ulm, Baden-Württemberg
The fort on the Oberer Kuhberg, part of the federal fortress built around 1850 at Ulm, held political and ideological opponents of the Nazis from November 1933 to July 1935, as one of Württemberg's early concentration camps. A memorial now stands on the authentic site and also serves as a place of learning. Visitors can follow how persecution began after the Nazis took power in 1933.
