The presses and printing machines here are not silent exhibits but are demonstrated in action. At the Museum für Druckkunst in Plagwitz, letterpress printers, typesetters and a type founder introduce the craft. You will find a type foundry, a wood-engraving workshop, a composing room with hot-metal type, and printing presses and machines. Visitors can try things out themselves.
