On the MAN factory grounds in Augsburg, where the company began in 1840, this technology and transport museum covers the firm's history and engineering in 1,800 square metres of exhibition space. A separate hall is devoted to commercial vehicles. The building went up in 1938 as a research institute and opened as a museum in 1953.
