Kutschenmuseum Hinterstein

A plain wooden shed in Hinterstein holds an unusual staging: sleighs and carriages set out with life-size dressed mannequins, stuffed animals such as wolf, fox and bear, and artificial snow. Mirrors, mirror balls and soft music set the mood, and visitors are asked not to speak. Among the most splendid pieces is an old hearse from Bohemia. The garden has art objects, wind chimes and a candlelit grotto.
