Right in Sonthofen's old centre, a short walk from the parish church of St. Michael, this town museum looks at the story of the place in the Allgäu. It occupies two buildings side by side: a listed farmhouse and a contemporary new wing. The former local-history house was renovated and extended for it, and the museum reopened in this form in 2023.
