Heimatmuseum

An old farmhouse in the Kienzen district shows how hard and frugal life once was in the Tannheim Valley. The Alemannic central-corridor house, which keeps living quarters and farm working space under one roof, is furnished with household goods and tools lent or donated by local people. The range of equipment reflects how the remote valley's inhabitants had to produce much of what they needed themselves.
